Immersion Chiller FYI

Post by Legman »

I'm building an immersion chiller this weekend. My HBS had a pre-built 25' chiller for 78 bucks. Build your own!

I bought a 50' roll of 3/8" copper tubing at http://www.coppertubingsales.com
for $ 43.69.

That was the cheapest I could find. Even with the shipping it was still cheaper than buying locally.

Copper is through the roof latley. thank goodness my brother is a plumber and I get his scrap for free. I still have approx. 50' of soft copper I need to clean, sanatize and coil for larger volume batches.
