selling beer...

I know that selling homebrew is illegle but is there anyway of going middle of the road between the pro microbrewer and the casual homebrewer. Has anybody ever offered to buy a batch from you? What did you do?

Nobody has ever offered to buy beer from me yet, I just either trade homebrew for homebrew or trade homebrew for something I want that they have!!! (Hope that's legal!) A buddy of mine back in Abilene is looking into the laws to get a licsense to sell his homebrew. He is looking for the same thing you are...little more than casual homebrew without having to open a microbrewery. He only wants to sell to a local specialty beer shop there in town. Will try to contact you and let you know what he finds out.
