wort chiller
I went to Lowes last night to check out copper tubing and 20' of 3/8" was $68.
Is it possible to use PVC tubing (or any other type) for a wort chiller?
I know that copper has better heat transfer but with pvc a longer coil could easily be made.
thanks

It is a thought but, I do not think you will get the performance you will be looking for.
*What would be tha cost for the PVC?
*What is the time taken to cool the wort with PVC?
