Chocolate banana stout

Post by matteus »

This is my first post. I'm thinking of making a double chocolate stout and substituting The Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan in order to get a banana quality to the beer. I just made a killer Weizenbock with this yeast. Does anybody advise against this?
I'll probably use the KC Double Chocolate Stout recipe from this site http://www.beertools.com/html/recipe.php?view=4472

Another yeast to try would be WLP041 Pacific Ale Yeast. It made our sweet stout tast a little fruitier than the English Ale yeast, just like it says on the white Labs website. But, sounds good let us know how it turns out.
