Hop varieties question ? ?
I am looking for a clean bittering hop that doesn't contribute much flavor.
I have used cascade for bitteing but I am not a fan of its strong grapefruity, clovey taste - even when added very early.
Any recommendations?

clean bittering hops
I'm not usually looking for a clean hop, but here's a few suggestions.
Perle is the one hop I usually go to for a clean bittering hop. It's slightly minty, but it's subtle.
Northern Brewer isn't a bad one, either. It adds a bit of a Piney flavor, but mixes well with other hops.
Many people like Magnum, but I haven't used that one.
