Update Notification

Post by ColoradoBrewer »

I'm not sure that this is a real bug. It may just be a change to the feature set. It used to be that when you launched BTP if there was an updated version available a window would pop up to notify you. A few versions ago that seems to have stopped working.

Now that you mention it I don't rememer seeing the popup window when 1.0.21 released. I'll check tonight if to see if I get a notice for the 22 release.

I haven't seen that for quite a while. Since I regularly check the forum, I find out soon, but I have used older versions of BTP without getting any notification.

Yeah I had to manually check for an update. No pop-up when the application started.

ditto here too. btPro does not check for updates automatically upon launching the application. I did invoke the manual check and it did report that a new version was available. I'm going to get it now.
