Separation Step Question

Post by Brant »

I fly sparge, so I create a single, 1-part Separation step to represent it. Is that the right approach? The odd thing is that every time I re-open that Separation step window from the Schedule, it automatically increases the Volume field by my Lauter tun's deadspace amount (0.12 gallon). If I click OK, and immediately reopen the Separation again, the Volume is increased another 0.12 gallon. It will continue doing this each time I reopen the window. Is that a bug, or am I filling in the data incorrectly? I am running 1.0.16.

I think it is a bug, I will take a look at it. Feel free to send me the file you are working with if you have a moment. Thanks!

I have had the same problem with the separation step. Jeff I have already sent you a file regarding this. Thanks. I noticed this does not happen when you set the dead space to 0 in your mashing vessel

Wow, Jeff, thanks for the quick fix! I just installed the brand new .18, and a quick check confirms it is fixed. Nice job!
