Pour Or siphon???
Hey all,
Do you reccomend pouring or siphoning when moving the wort to your primary frementer? I seen it done both ways. My main reason for asking is that if I siphion can leave some of the sediment behind. I'm not sure if this would be benificial or detrimental to my brewing.
Thanks,
Jamie

Siphon
I personally siphon for the reasons you stated, I also keep the hose atleast a foot above the top of the wort in the fermentor so it will get plenty of air. I've never had to use a ir stone or anything, and it seems to work fine.
