Spent grains
OK, Was wondering what creative ways all the home brewers out there
have of disposing of spent grains.
For the past 5 yrs I've just putting them into the garbage.
But I've been hearing thet there are other methods and I'd like to here them.

Spent grains
They make great compost, but I know a couple brewers who make bread from them.

Make dog cookies!
I make dog cookies from my spent grains every couple of months. The remaining spent grain goes in the compost pile.
All the dogs in my family and neighborhood love them. It's easy enough for a non baker like me. If you can mash you can do it. Just google "spent grain dog cookies" for any of several good recipes for different flavors. My dogs love peanut butter flavor.
