Some good reading.

To all brewers,
My wife bought me a recent copy of Brew Your Own mag (Sept 2002). It features two good articles one on diagnosing Brewing Problems by Marty Nachel and second on Brewer's Yeast by Steve Parkes (he was my brewing instructor at the ABG). Steve has published most of the material that he teaches during the brewing course (pro brewer training stuff).
These are pretty good articles.
