Making Labels using Ink Jet

Post by Willbrew »

I read this a little while ago and wondered what exactly I could use to keep the ink from running. And ideas?

"You might want to spray or brush some kind of water resistant finish on them to keep the ink from running."

Hobby & Craft Sealers

Post by BillyBock »

I recently went through this on the Holiday beers I made. I went down to the hobby/craft section in Walmart and bought some all-purpose sealer from Delta Ceramcoat. I would've used the spray version of the sealer; however, it's too cold outside for it to dry adequately. If you use the brush on stuff, don't let the brush get dry because it'll smear some of the ink--keep plenty of sealer on it at all times. It took some practice but I got the hang of it. Use a wide brush, get a glob of sealer on there, spread it around, let it dry, and you're in business. Good luck.
