Wyeast Northwest Ale Yeast

Post by Kepler57 »

I have recently picked up a package of Wyeast's Northwest Ale yeast. I am curious if anyone has brewed with this yeast or has any good recipes to use with it? I am looking for something with a higher OG (1.070+) and a decent amount of hops. If anyone could point me to some good recipes i would appriciate it.

Thanks,
Mike.

Kepler: I personally haven't used that strain, but based on the description of the yeast I've used similar British strains. It sounds like you're looking for a good IPA or Imperial IPA recipe? Let me know what suits your taste buds and I'll look in my personal recipe book.
