Adjunct Calculations?
Are any of the adjuncts taken into consideration for the calculations in beertools.com or pro? I ask because I read that maltodextrin adds 40 gravity points at a gallon/lb. Which would mean that 8 oz in a 5 gal recipe would increase the actual OG and FG by 4 points b/c it isn't fermented.
This would be important when considering what your actual measures are and how much attenuation your yeast produced, however I wouldn't want it in the calculation when thinking about how sweet that FG will taste.
