Recipe Help!

Worried about evap rates....got a four gallon pot, end boil volume (per slothrob's recipe calcs) is 3.5 gallons. I'm assuming the grains will absorb up to half gallon, as I examine his recipe, and mash out with a half gallon, then sparge with 2 gallons. My fermenter holds 2.5 gallons (lus or minus head space) and I only worry if it ends up more than that. If it's less, no biggie, just top off to full.

You guys have been a great help, I'll keep you posted on the brewing..
