Hops Question

When using pelleted hops, do you need to crush them?

I usually crush mine when dry hopping.

OK, hadnt thought of that, but then again, I have never dry hopped either. Good point.

I never crush, but I usually put the hops in a fine nylon mesh, The less hops grit I have the clearer the beer. Although I had the initial mishap with the dyed pantyhose.(I think you have all heard that one) I still have bought white ones to use in my brew. Very fine mesh, keeps the trub to a minimum.
