First All Grain and need some advice

Postby andybrew2010 » Mon Nov 08, 2010 12:43 pm

I've been brewing partials for a year or so and finally have all the equipment (15 gal keggle, cooler-mash tun, 50' counter flow chiller, and a few fermenting buckets/carboys). As a gift, I was given 10lb American 2-row, and a pound of crystal (40 I think, I'm not at home now). Any suggestions as to an easy first time recipe?

Thanks,
Andy

That sounds like an American Pale Ale recipe. 0.5-0.75# of the crystal Malt should be enough, unless you prefer them on the sweeter side.
