Adding Hops Durring The Mash

I am doing an Imperial IPA and i am going to try adding hops to the mash, i have a total of 19lbs of grain @ a water ratio of 1.25qt : 1lb and will be adding 1.5oz of hops to the mash @ a temp of 152. I use the 5.2ph balancing additive during my mash, but my main question is, will the hops change any of the mash variables such as PH that could in turn effect my ability to properly convert?
