American Caramel 40 L

Forgive a novice question. What is American Caramel 40 L? I can't seem to find a grain of that name. Is it the same as Breiss 2-row Caramel 40L?

yep. Briess is one of a handful of American malters (if you are counting all of North America). Anything that is labeled as a caramel or crystal 40 L is what you would be looking for. British malters call their equivalent malt crystal.
