Rice Syrup/Rice Flakes conversion

Hi all

I have an extract recipe for .5kg or 1lb of Rice syrup but my LHBS has only Rice Flakes,How much Rice Flakes would Ihave to use to find the equivalent.

According to Promash, Rice Syrup and Rice Flakes have equal gravity potentials of 1.040 ppppg. Therefore, 1 lb of flakes will get you the same gravity as 1 lb of syrup in the same volume of water.
