Yeast Storage
I am about ready to rack to my secondary and i would like to start retaining my yeast for future batches. I was wondering what the best type of container is for yeast storage. What containers does everyone else use?

get a glass flask
I bought a glass flask with stopper and airlock at the brew supply shop. I collect yeast off the secondary as it is cleaner. There is a lot of troub in the primary that you don't want to introduce to your new batch. So with that said, collect off your secondary and feed it a little new weak wort to bring it back to life after sitting in the secondary for awhile and just after the crousin starts to slow... chill it to slow down/ stop the fermentation process. When you are ready to brew your next batch, pull it out and let it get room temp before pitching to your new batch.
