Using Fruit Juce to Prime a Sparking Mead

Post by bigbrewdude »

I'm working on a mixed berry mead and was wondering how much fruit juice to use for priming it. Also I was wondering if that can be done for fruit ales...

It would be hard

It would be hard to judge how much of any one kind of fruit juice to use, since even different batches of the same kind of fruit are going to have different sugar content. even though its sugar content fluctuates too, honey would be a better choice.
