I want to make a nice stout with a good black licorice flavor. Any reccommendations for this? What is the best method? Thanks!

I used licorice root many moons ago in a nice robust stout. I placed it in a hop bag at the last few minutes of the boil, then let it continue to steep while the wort cooled. worked out well for me.
