Keg Fermenter Kit

Check out this link...not sure if I posted it correctly.

You might be able to build one for cheaper...depends on how determined you are to save $$.

A buddy of mine just picked up some cornies and plans to do this until he gets a keg system set up...we found a sweet deal on kegs locally.

Good luck...cheers.

corny lid for lagering

Don't most people just lager in a regular sealed corny?

corney lid for lagering

I guess I should be more clear. In order to ferment lagered beers one is bet to start around 50 degrees or so and doing this is best for me to be done in a temp controlled fridge, which I had. I wanted to use less space in the fridge for other things. So I want to first stage lager in a corney with a specialized lid such as the one posted right after my initial question.

lid for fermenting in a corny

Post by slothrob »

Ah, I see, fermenting a lager, not lagering a lager.

Here's a modified lid for $13. I've seen some that just had the pressure relief valve pulled out and an airlock installed in it's place, which might be what's going on with this one.
