Lauter tun plans
Hi guys. After quite a few mildly successful extract batches I want to dive into the wonderful world of AG brewing. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some DETAILED (notice the capital letters) plans on how to build a lauter tun from a rectangular ice cooler? Much appreciated!!!!!

Well, this isn't a rectangular cooler, but same general idea. I used these plans and made one from a round Rubbermaid 7.5 gallon cooler. It works great!

Thanks Legman!!!!! Exactly what I was looking for!!! Not really familiar with the SS braid vs. the false bottom. How exactly does that work as opposed to a false bottom?

Well, I can't comment on the false bottom....I've never used one. But I think the SS braid works well and it's cheap and easy to assemble.
The one thing I did do, is insert a piece of vinyl tubing with holes cut in it, into the braid. This helped it from floating around so much.
