small portable keg???

Has anyone ever tried or heard of someone using a metal water canister fire extinguisher for a portable keg/dispenser???
They are build similar to a soda keg. Stainless canister with a copper dip tube in the tank. 2.5 gallons with removable lid.
Any thoughts on this???
