I just added isinglass to my beer, which was already at 40F. How long do I need to wait for it to settle out? If residual isinglass remains will it have adverse effects on the flavor profile? Hypothetically speaking, if I had a friend that racked from secondary to a keg, then brought the beer down to 40F, then added isinglass to the keg would I recommend to my friend to rack again to a fresh keg or could I, I mean my friend, leave it there to settle and pour out the first couple of glasses...How long would my friend have to wait before force carbonating?
THanks - Mike

Tell your "friend"
I'd rack back into another keg.
Also, make sure your isinglass is refrigerated. It will store longer(6 months)Its been in there for 5 days now, so it has definitely filtered by now.
