first lager is going well
My first lager is doing well in the cool climes of the laundry room. It took it 2 days to get a nice steady ferment, but its going. Nice aroma, nice color. I'm already dying to have one. ha. maybe next month sometime!

avg lager time?
What is the average time a lager needs from brew to bottle? I am thinking of using my garage over this winter to try a Moosehead clone.

I like two months ...
Chris,
I like too see two months until drinking.
7 days in the primary,
3 weeks in the secondary,
1 month to bottle condition, preferably at45-50F
It is worth the wait ...
Paul.

Sounds good, I think the garage is just the right temp. Got any good lager recipes?
