Best steeping methode?
Hello
I brew on this sunday a taddy porter (extract + specials grains). I've notice 2 methods for steeping and I dont know what is the best for the flavor:
1. heat the wart until 72

1. heat the wart until 72

Tea anyone?
Dom,
I like to compare steeping grains to making tea.
I would not want to rise extract out of the steeping bag. Of the two choices I'll choose door #2.
I wish I could remember the web site for John Palmer. Look for him and check out his basic methods. I still brew like him on most beers.
