We brewers are closer than brothers and as such try to help each other improve our brewing techniques as much as possible. The problem lies in the receiver. Sometime he/ she is not receptive to faults and change.
My dearest friend has brewed some less than perfect beers... some of which were not fit for human consumption. (dumped)
I have tried to give him some guidance to no avail. So, I have succumbed to taking a back seat and waiting for him to come to me with his questions. (I did get him a subscription to BYO for his birthday too). :D Brewing is an art, but there are also specific "do's" and "don'ts". If a brewer violates those rules, the beer will suffer, well maybe the consumer too. :lol:
With that said... Don't be too critical and maybe try to slip in a suggestion or two.
