Duplicate recipe + remove date = fail

I've noticed that if you duplicate a recipe and try to remove (uncheck) the date, and save it still shows the date in the main recipe window as the original brew date for the recipe you duplicated. Can this be corrected in the next version?

I believe this is fixed in version 1.5.18.
