Exporting to XML

When I export a recipe to an XML file the quantities to all my ingredients change. For example, 10.15 lbs of American 2-row is exported as 4.605378 and 1 ounce of Columbus hops is exported as 0.0283495. Any suggestions?

The BeerXML standard requires that all weights be specified as kilograms. For more details on the standard you can visit this site: http://www.beerxml.com/beerxml.htm

Regular BeerTools Pro (.btp) files are XML format too. You should be able to open them in any text editor. Firefox browser is an excellent program for viewing xml files too.
