My ingredients doesn't adjust quantity of product used

Hi all. I'm a newbie with BTP and am unsure if the program isn't doing something it's supppose to, or it's just operator error.

When I use products out of the My Ingredients in a recipe, the quantity in My Ingredients doesn't change. Example: I have 43.5 lbs of Golden Promise in My Ingredients. I use 10 lbs of the Golden Promise in a recipe. The Golden Promise in My ingredients still lists 43.5 lbs, not 33.5.

Is there a button that I'm missing that tells BTP that I'm using certain quanities of My Ingredients in a recipe, so adjust the My Ingredients inventory appropriately?

You need to drag the recipe onto the "Planned Recipes" icon, then go to "Window" in the menubar and click on "Shopping List". Notice that the recipe's ingredients are listed in the Deduct column, then click "Deduct",

That should do it.
