Scaling a Recipe

Post by Jerimi »

Is scaling a recipe possible? I plan to make several 2 - 3 gal batches next week to try out some new styles. I have down acquired several that i would like to try. so does Beer Tools Pro have a scaling function? or would i have to up load them and then use the scaling at Beer Tools web site?

You can scale a recipe by final volume if you click the lock checkbox next to "Final Volume" in the main recipe window and select "Scale". Changing the final volume when the box is checked will scale the ingredients proportionally.
