"Open Recent" menu item, please

Would it be possible to add an "Open Recent" entry to the file menu item, please? I find myself continuously going back and refining recipes that I'm formulating, and it'd be much more convenient than browsing.

I agree, and I suggested this some time ago -- that the menu bar contain a list of several of the most recent files that were used, in chronological order, like word processors and many other programs. I can live with four, but many provide a list of the last ten files, which is even better.
