Database Type/Version Question

My husband bought this and since we have several computers in the house, we'd like to keep them all "synched" up so that we can access our brewing information from anyone of them.

As nearly as I can tell from your other posts, you aren't using a RDBMS as your database but I could be wrong. If you are, which one are you using? I'd like to be able to set up replication between the various instances.
